(3) Planing. The edge of the plate can be planed by hand or electric planer, and can also be polished with angular grinding wheel.

(4) Before nailing, it is better to drill holes on the board. If it is necessary to drive nails directly, the nails should be slightly away from the edge of the board to prevent the board from cracking.

（2） Connect with keel

1. The composite of fiber cement board and wood keel shall be fixed with round nails or wood screws.

2. The composite of fiber cement board and light steel keel shall be fixed with self tapping screws.

3. Fiber cement board and asbestos cement keel and other non-metallic data base composite should be fixed with expansion screw.

4. A layer of rubber gasket with edge groove should be placed between the fiber cement board and the keel for surface leveling and sound insulation.

（3） Planking direction

(1) The fiber cement board of fire resistance grade partition wall should be laid longitudinally, that is, the long side of the board is parallel to the vertical keel, but only the flat edge is fixed to the keel, and the flat joint edge is placed in the center of the wing plate of the vertical keel. The fiber cement board cannot be fixed to the keel along the top or along the ground.

(2) The fiber cement board for partition wall without fire protection requirements can be laid vertically or horizontally.

(3) When fiber cement board is used as ceiling, its long side must be straight with the vertical keel, and adhere to a certain degree of equality.
