[New Regulations] GB55031-2022 "General Code for Civil buildings" prefabricated buildings must use the "Four Modernizations" parts! The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development recently issued a notice approving the General Code for Civil Buildings as the national standard, numbered GB 55031-2022, which will come into effect on March 1, 2023. This code is mandatory construction code, all provisions must be strictly implemented.
The code points out in the basic provisions that prefabricated buildings should adopt integrated, modular, standardized and universal prefabricated parts and components. It is stipulated in the building parts and construction that the prefabricated roof should be designed to resist wind peel, and the corresponding fixed measures should be taken for each construction layer.
In case of any discrepancy between the relevant provisions in the current project construction standards and these codes, the provisions of these Codes shall prevail. At the same time, the following mandatory provisions related to the existing construction standards shall be abolished:
I. Article 4.3.1, 6.7.4, 6.8.6 and 6.8.9 of Unified Standard for Civil Building Design GB 50352-2019.
2. Article 3.1.7 and 4.2.8 of Garage Building Design Code JGJ 100-2015.
3. Article 3.0.2 and 4.3.3 of Food and Beverage Building Design Standard JGJ 64-2017.
Iv. Article 8.2.2 and 9.1.2 of Technical Regulations for Application of Building Glass JGJ 113-2015.
