As an important public activity venue in the local area, the multimedia space on the second floor of Changsha County Citizens' Hall is often used for holding academic reports, audio-visual screenings, cultural performances and other events. However, the original wall materials have poor sound absorption effects, leading to acoustic problems such as echoes and excessively long reverberation time in the space, which seriously interfere with speech clarity and audio-visual effects. In addition, considering the safety and environmental protection requirements of public buildings, the new wall materials need to have the characteristics of convenient construction and environmental friendliness, so as to shorten the construction period, reduce the impact on the environment, and ensure the health and safety of users. Under such demands, the project team, after extensive research and comparison, finally selected gray silicon decorative panels (perforated) as the application product for the sound-absorbing walls in the multimedia space.
